Who we are and what we do

Surf Telecoms has always been about delivering first-class services at state-of-the-art facilities. Founded in 1994 (formally SWEB telecoms), today we’ve expanded our network to offer extensive accommodation, systems security, telecoms and site management services not simply to the South West and Wales, but across the whole of the mainland UK. Surf is different. You’ll find us flexible with a depth of knowledge and breadth of service that have earned us an enviable “can-do” reputation. In a world where fast, dependable communications are paramount, we’re highly responsive. We also take security extremely seriously. Last but not least, we’re nice people to deal with which is probably why our customers have chosen us in the South West.

National Network Capability Together with our communications partners, Surf now offers network coverage right across the UK. Surf’s telecommunications network is installed in the South West of England and South of Wales. However, that does not mean that our capabilities are limited to our network area. Surf has several interconnects with other network providers where we have the opportunity to take our customers further into other areas of the UK, for example backhaul from South West landing stations into London.
