Delivering Security
Surf takes security seriously which is why we’re committed to achieving data security standards to BS 7799 as part of ISO 27001.
We use Ciena /Nortel and Cisco carrier-class equipment. We also employ a higher level of ring topology together with diverse fibre cable routes to ensure first-rate protection against cable failure.
All our colocation sites are protected with high-security perimeter fencing, advanced lighting and monitored intruder systems. Government standard locks are used throughout and only authorised personnel may be admitted.
And because you want to be sure of a seamless function at all times, maintenance teams monitor services around the clock, with 24/7 backup to ensure excellent service continuity.
Delivering Service
Our target availability over the core network is 99.995% and typically we achieve actual availability of 99.998% on our ring protected services.
Surf operates a 24 x 365 network centre and we have a fast, one hour response time and four hour fix targets for all service affecting faults.
